It is always nice to see photos of the times we have shared together. Thanks for faithfully uploading the photos.

I want to wish you all (current and "older" guides) all the best during for your exams. I don't wish to get any feedback that you guys aren't doing well.

After the exams, training will resume, under the leadership of our new committee... Let us all show our support and hold all judgements. It is not easy but i have faith that this new committee will lead us to greater heights....

Hi!

Today's our ROD, and probably the last official meeting for Guides this year.

Congratulations to those who have been appointed today..! I trust that this new Executive Committee will be able to bring BPGHS Girl Guides to greater heights this time round.

Hope that all of you will perform your duty well next year, and be satisfied with your position. There's always a reason for your appointment, and I wish you will uphold this responsibilty that we have entrusted to you!

New gardening schedule for 29 Aug

Since the sec3s were away for OBS last week, i forgot to inform everyone and ms phua abt the gardening on 15 aug. ya so i guess no one went on that day? so this is the edited schedule for 29 Aug.

Sec2s, u must learn how to go there on ur own as NO transport will be provided but ms phua said she will give us taxi fare... =) for those going on 29 Aug, pls be familiar with the things u are suppose to do there so that u will be more prepared next time.

Hi,

There's Guides' session this Friday. If you have heard, there won't be anymore CCAs in term 4. So this Friday would probably be the last official meeting before your Common Test. How sad. So do treasure your last meeting for this year. Make it a good one to end off the year's CCA!

Anyway, Release Of Duty (ROD) will be held on 31 Aug, which is after Teachers' Day Celebration. I'm telling you this early now, so that you won't be scheduling any activity after Teachers' Day Celebration. Everyone has to come. COMPULSORY!

Good luck for your Common Test anyway, and the Sec 4s your prelims!

NDP Parade!

Hi Girls,
Tomorrow is the BIG DAY for you. It will be the chance for you to showcase your drills to others and to prove to them that Guides are not weak and useless. Therefore, do your best for tomorrow okay!!!

Do sleep early today and drink plenty of water. Have a light breakfast tomorrow. There will be a piece of bread and a packet of drinks provided tomorrow morning, but I doubt you will be interested to eat them =P.

Please remember these few pointers:
1) Wriggle your toes as and when you like every few min to ensure blood circulation around your body so that you won't faint tomorrow.
In an event when you really feel very giddy, it's okay if you fall out. YOUR HEALTH/LIFE IS MORE IMPORTANT!
2) Make sure you do not fidget about when you are already on the parade ground. Rmb, when kanan lurus is given, it does not mean you can fidget. Rmb to turn your head back when "pong pong" is given
3) For the 1st rank, remember that you are one rank spacing behind baina....
4) Do your belok properly 90° at the point. First rank slow down a bit for the back to catch up.
5) STRAIGHTEN YOUR ARMS AND RAISE IT ONLY TO 90° TO YOUR OWN SHOULDERS.
Do not raise up too high, neither should it be too low.

Yesterday's drill wasn't up to standard. Quite disappointing, hope that tomorrow can be better okay. =)

To Silin:
Nvm if you receive any insult from XXX, just know that you have done your best and nobody is in the position to criticise you as he is not even in the colours. I know the job is tough, and I believe you will be tough enough to be entrusted with this arduous task. =)

i'm very proud of jingfang for taking the initiative to organise an outing! hope others will learn from her too..
and and and! don't forget to practice your drills at home, even if it does look erm, weird turning like some random hinge at home. it's all for your own good! *sniggers* yea and don't bounce, please. it's not cute at all =_=
even though i may not give good commands or set good examples, i still hope that you guys (aka the sec3s) can uphold discipline and all that (i trust that you should know.)

to sec3s: regardless of what post you get, whether you like it or not, please, do your best and contribute as much as you can. you may think that your post is too much or a responsibility, or that you deserve a higher post. don't fret, because everything happens for a reason, and Guides remain cheerful in the face of adversity, right? make the best out of everything, and enjoy screaming at your juniors (LMAO) don't let guides crumble okay? i know that the sec4s have not been very united, and that is really a shame. so, i hope that you guys can learn from this and not make the same mistakes as us. (this must be my biggest regret)
i'll be coming back next year, (whether you like it or not xD okay stop cursing me) =DDDDDDDD
